1. Overview

Security is fundamental to the Deployer platform. This document outlines our security practices, compliance certifications, and measures implemented to protect customer data and applications. We maintain industry-leading security standards and continuously update our practices to address emerging threats.

2. Data Encryption

2.1 Encryption at Rest

All data stored within Deployer infrastructure is encrypted using industry-standard encryption protocols:

• AES-256 encryption for all data stored in Deployer Vault databases

• Encrypted disk volumes for all managed infrastructure

• Secure key management using industry-standard Key Management Service (KMS)

• Encrypted backup storage with separate encryption keys

2.2 Encryption in Transit

All data transmitted through Deployer services is protected using modern encryption protocols:

• TLS 1.3 for all API communications and dashboard access

• Automatic SSL/TLS certificate provisioning for deployed applications

• Encrypted database connections using SSL/TLS

• VPN connectivity options for enterprise customers

3. Access Control

3.1 Authentication

• Multi-factor authentication (MFA) support for all user accounts

• Single Sign-On (SSO) integration for enterprise customers (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0)

• API key management with configurable expiration and fine-grained permissions

• Secure session management with automatic timeout policies

3.2 Authorization

• Role-based access control (RBAC) for granular permission management

• Team-level resource isolation and access controls

• Comprehensive audit logging for all privileged and critical actions

• IP allowlisting capabilities for enhanced access security

4. Compliance and Certifications

Deployer is actively working towards achieving industry-recognized security and privacy certifications. As a rapidly growing platform, we are in the process of obtaining the following certifications:

Standard/FrameworkDescriptionStatus
SOC 2 Type IIIndependent audit of security, availability, and confidentiality controlsIn Progress
GDPRGeneral Data Protection Regulation compliance frameworkQ4 2026
PCI-DSSPayment security through PCI-DSS compliant payment gatewayActive
ISO 27001Information security management system standardsQ3 2027

Note: While we work towards formal certifications, Deployer currently implements security practices aligned with these standards. All payment processing is handled through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways to ensure secure transaction handling.

5. Infrastructure Security

Our infrastructure security measures protect against external threats and ensure service integrity:

• Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection at network and application layers

• Web Application Firewall (WAF) deployed for all customer applications

• 24/7 intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS)

• Automated security patch management and system updates

• Network segmentation and resource isolation between customers

• Private networking capabilities for enterprise deployments

6. Security Monitoring and Incident Response

6.1 Continuous Security Monitoring

• Real-time threat detection and automated alerting systems

• Continuous vulnerability scanning and security assessment

• Centralized log aggregation, retention, and analysis

• Machine learning-based anomaly detection for suspicious activity

6.2 Incident Response

Deployer maintains a comprehensive incident response program:

• Dedicated security team available 24/7/365

• Documented incident response procedures and playbooks

• Post-incident analysis and detailed reporting

• Transparent communication with affected customers during security events

7. Data Privacy and Protection

7.1 Data Privacy Principles

• Data residency options in Singapore and Indonesia regions

• Strict access controls preventing unauthorized data access

• Secure data deletion within 90 days of account termination

• Privacy-by-design architecture across all platform services

7.2 Backup and Recovery

• Automated daily backups for all Deployer Vault databases

• 30-day backup retention with point-in-time recovery capabilities

• Encrypted backup storage in geographically separate locations

• Regular backup integrity verification and restoration testing

8. Vulnerability Management

Deployer maintains a proactive approach to identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities:

• Independent third-party security audits conducted annually

• Quarterly penetration testing by certified security professionals

• Bug bounty program for responsible vulnerability disclosure

• Automated dependency scanning for known security vulnerabilities

• Mandatory security code review and ongoing developer security training

9. Bring Your Own Server (BYOS) Security

When using the Bring Your Own Server option, customers maintain primary responsibility for infrastructure security. Deployer implements the following security measures for BYOS connections:

• Secure SSH connections using public key authentication only

• No permanent storage of customer server credentials

• Comprehensive security best practices and server hardening documentation

• Recommended firewall configurations and network access controls

10. Responsible Vulnerability Disclosure

Deployer welcomes reports of potential security vulnerabilities from security researchers and the broader community. We are committed to working with security researchers to verify and address reported vulnerabilities promptly.
